Completed in 2025 in the vibrant coastal district of Canggu, Alchemy Canggu is a bamboo restaurant designed by IBUKU in collaboration with Earth Lines Architects and engineered by Ketut Yasa Bagiarta. Set on a 640.1 m² site, the project reimagines the dining experience as a porous tropical pavilion structured through a refined bamboo post-and-beam system.

The architecture dissolves the boundary between interior and landscape, allowing breeze, filtered light, and greenery to shape the atmosphere. Petung bamboo columns rise rhythmically to support a dynamic roof canopy that creates both shelter and openness. The result is not simply a restaurant, but a spatial ecosystem one that reflects Alchemy’s plant-based philosophy through material honesty, regenerative construction, and community-centered design in the heart of Canggu, Bali.
